La Garçonne
If I am in my late 20's and early 30's, La Garçonne is the store I will be spending most of my money. I don't know how often I window shop there,thought, I haven't purchased anything from their website yet. Recently, I am doing a research paper on comparing stores' items as a buyer. Most people choose to do big companies, A&F, Saks Fifth Avenue...., I would love to do big companies too. However, when I first heard of this assignment, my first reaction is to compare some online stores I am so in love with. And, of course, La Garçonne just popped out of my head.
It is so easy to shop at La Garçonne - the layout and pcitures are clean, simple, and pretty. It is definitely a great therapy to just window shop there. Moreover, it has Le Magazine, which features items La Garçonne carries. Also, Editorial, trends every season and worldwide, new desigers they carry, and most importantly, Garçonne We Love, which they feature women who have their own sense of styles which fit the theory of La Garçonne: her style is impossible to imitate because sense of self is its most influential inspiration.
Right now, they have three women all from differnet backgrounds, Clemence Poesy, a French actress (absolutely BEAUTIFUL), Louise Dutoit, the North American Brand Manager for Acne Jeans, and Charlotte Gainsbourg, an actress and musician.
